$50 'Refer a friend' promotion

Terms and Conditions as at 1 December 2025

Offer and Eligibility
This ‘Refer A Friend’ promotion (RAFP) is offered by Bloom™ Hearing Limited trading as Audiology South (NZBN 9429030584259) and Partner Brand, Focus Hearing of PO Box 46-323 Herne Bay, Auckland, New Zealand 1010 (Bloom™).

By participating in the RAFP you agree to be bound by these Terms.
The RAFP will be open from 1 December 2025.

To qualify for the RAFP:

  • you must be an existing Audiology South customer in New Zealand over the age of 18 and have completed a hearing assessment at an Audiology South clinic (Existing Customer) within the Promotion Period;
  • if you are an Existing Customer, you must refer any person over the age of 55 to an Audiology South clinic (Referred Customer);
  • the Referred Customer must within the Promotion Period book and complete a free hearing assessment appointment with any Audiology South clinic in New Zealand (Appointment); and
  • the Referred Customer must quote the Existing Customer’s full name, and phone number at the time of booking the appointment and/or at the end of the Appointment (Full Details). If the Referred Customer cannot provide Full Details which match the Existing Customer's details on the Audiology South system, the referral will not be valid.

For the avoidance of doubt, the Referred Customer must be a new customer (not a previous or existing Audiology South customer). An Existing Customer may make referrals to an unlimited number of Referred Customers. The RAFP is not available to employees of Audiology South.

Issuing of the Promotional Reward
Each Existing Customer that meets the criteria set out in paragraph 1(d) above will receive a $50 Prezzy VISA Gift Card (Reward).
The Reward will be delivered by a tracked delivery service to the residential address given to Audiology South (at Audiology South's cost). Processing and delivery of the Reward may take up to four (4) weeks from the time the Referred Customer has completed their Appointment.
If Audiology South cannot offer the Reward due to events beyond its reasonable control, it will contact the Existing Customer and offer a reasonably comparable substitute to the Reward.

Privacy
Audiology South collects personal information in order to conduct this RAFP. If the information requested by Audiology South is not provided, Audiology South may not be able to provide requested goods or services and the individual may not be able to participate in the RAFP.
Audiology South will handle Existing Customers’ and Referred Customers' Personal Information in accordance with its Privacy Policy at Privacy Policy | Audiology South. The Privacy Policy outlines how Audiology South handles and deals with personal information, how you may access and seek the correction of the personal information that Audiology South holds about you, how you may complain about a privacy breach and how Audiology South will deal with such a complaint.
In administering the RAFP and for related purposes, Audiology South may disclose personal information to its related entities, agents and service providers. Some of these are located overseas, including in Denmark, Singapore, South America and New Zealand.
Audiology South will not provide the Existing Customer with any information relating to a Referred Customer, except for the fact that a Referred Customer has completed a free hearing assessment appointment and that the Existing Customer is therefore entitled to receive the Reward from Audiology South, in accordance with these Terms.

Miscellaneous
Audiology South reserves the right to cease and/or revoke the RAFP or substitute the Reward offered with another item of the same value at its sole discretion from time to time and without notice.
If Audiology South ceases or revokes the RAFP, it will honour all eligible referrals made before the latter of: 

  • the date the RAFP ceases or is revoked; or
  • the expiration of the Promotion Period.

To the extent permitted by law, Audiology South will not be liable to any person for any cost, loss, damage, liability, expense or claim arising, whether directly or indirectly, in connection with the RAFP. Any dispute or situation not covered by these terms will be resolved by our management in a manner it deems to be fair (acting reasonably).
