Our Otago clinics have been supporting the Orokonui Ecosanctuary with a bit of voluntary gardening, and Invercargill celebrated a year in their new premises.

Giving back to the community

Audiology South’s staff in Otago abandoned their clinics in May to do some gardening at Orokonui Ecosanctuary. The team spent the day weeding and pruning in the Pa Harakeke, and were rewarded with a tour during which they got up close with Otago skinks, a not-so-shy pair of takahe, and various other native birds, including kaka, toutouwai, and piwakawaka.

“Thanks to Alice and John for showing us around and putting us to work. Our volunteering days are an opportunity to support a worthwhile cause and give back to the communities who support us, and build strong, cohesive clinic teams so we continue to provide excellent service,” says Anthony Rowcroft.

Invercargill celebrated a year at Arena Avenue

Happy anniversary to us! In July it was a year since we opened our doors, and to celebrate we baked a cake! We were delighted to see many of you enjoying a complimentary piece of birthday cake during our week of celebrations. Congratulations to Logan and Taryn, who both won an Anniversary Hamper. And to everyone who won a daily spot prize.

33 Arena Avenue has space and capacity, so we can provide a great service and you can book in to see us sooner. It’s a happy, bright and spacious clinic, and we love working here.

We’re very accessible, particularly for those with a disability or who are less mobile, and have loads of car parking just outside. And with Industry Café right next door, you can grab a coffee if you’re a little early, or would like one after your appointment and really test your hearing aids in background noise!

As the only independent audiology clinic in the city, we are committed to excellent hearing health care. You can trust that our advice is always based on your genuine needs and budget.

Keep safe and well, and we look forward to seeing you at 33 Arena Avenue soon. Phone 0800 547 836 to book an appointment, or book online www.audiologysouth.co.nz.
